Mischa is the child of a wealthy and well-known Mischa Barton on January 24 of 1986. The birthplace was in Hammersmith England, United Kingdom. The O.C. she played Marissa Cooper a socialite. In Romania she was hailed as a hero. Four years later during the 1980 Olympics Comaneci earned two more gold medals and two silver to increase the Olympic total to 9 gold medals. Comaneci was inducted into the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame in 1996. She was voted as one of the top 100 women in the 20th century by ABC News. Comaneci and Olympic Champion Bart Conner had a son Dylan Paul in April 1996. They own various business ventures that are related to gymnastics. These include The Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy. Comaneci is also involved in a variety of charities as a member of the Special Olympics International Muscular Dystrophy Association as well as the Laureus Sports For Good Foundation Board of Directors. After a decade, Comaneci continues to be a supporter of numerous other charities in her homeland of Romania. They include her involvement with the Nadia Comaneci Children's Hospital.
