Simone Biles

Simone Biles was an American gymnast born March 14, 1997 in Columbus, Ohio. Biles is believed to be one of the most outstanding gymnasts. Biles was the very first female gymnast from America in history to have won four gold medals at a single Games. At Rio de Janeiro, she also became the first woman to have won consecutive World All-Around titles. Biles along with her younger sister Adria was adopted from Ronald Biles as well as Nellie Biles' grandparents in Spring Texas (in the Houston region), grew up there. Simone started to develop an interest in gymnastics when she was when she was six years old during a school field trip at Bannon Gymnastix. Aimee Borman was her coach for the next 11 years. Biles was awarded silver and gold medals at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships 2010 in floor and vault before her debut in 2011 at the top section of the competition. Two years later, she was the most dominant athlete in the field. What set Biles apart was the consistency of her fun-loving personality, as well as the level of challenge she integrated into her routines throughout all four events--vault uneven bars balance beam and floor workout.
