Andrea Jeremiah
Andrea Maria Jeremiah is an Indian actress, singer in playback and musician, who is most often in Tamil and Malayalam language films. She made her acting debut in the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam as well as her Malayalam debut with Annayum's Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah is an Anglo-Indian born at Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Her father is a lawyer in the Madras High Court. She is the sister of a researcher assistant in Leuven, Belgium. Jeremiah was born near Chennai and attended National Public School and graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea is a young girl who started with classical piano classes at the age of eight, has been called a "geek" and wanted to become a psychiatric patient until her 12th grade board exam. She sang in the Jackson Five style troupe Young Stars in the age of 10. It was this group that shaped her singing and music composition career. She also worked as professional theatre performers in the university. Andrea was also The Student Senate President at Women's Christian College. Andrea began her acting career through Girish Karnad's Nagamandala. She appeared in the 2006 tea commercial featuring Shiva. The actress also acted in a serial which relayed in Podhigai channel. The actress has performed all over India. She played a minor role on the Kanda Mudhal finale (2005). Gautham Menon wanted Andrea to be the main character following her performance. she sang in Vettaiyaadu's Vettaiyaadu. Andrea is Kalyani which is a wife and mother to a man with whom she has a love affair. Andrea was chosen to play Kalyani in the wake of Simran Shobana Tabu and other actresses were asked to audition for the role. The film premiered at the start of 2010. She agreed in 2011 to play a minor acting role as a support in Venkatprabhu's film Mankatha that was released in August 2011, Annayum Rasoolum was a romantic film made by Rajeeev Rath released in 2013, marked the actress's Malayalam debut.
