Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson is a talented American actor who has performed as a performer, writer producer, director, and writer. Most famously, she is known for her part as Tara Maclay on the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer and has also directed produced and starred in her own movies Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. She was also in the film Kiss the Bride. Benson was the youngest of children born to Edward Benson and Diane Benson. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama on the 8th of January 1977. Danielle is the younger sibling, and she's an artist. Benson, whose father is Jewish and her mother a Southern Baptist was raised in an Alabama Reform synagogue. The career of Benson continues to grow following the ending of Buffy. Benson was a part of movies like The Killing Jar, and shows like Morganville The Series. Additionally, she worked as a scriptwriter on her own show, the Ghosts of Albion Series and directed Drones in 2010. Buffy, after spending an effort and time to find them, says that there are more than 1800 Slayers around the world, including 500 working for their organization, the Scooby Gang. Slayers are now Slayers once they are mature. Soledad's Slayer power was revealed when she turned sixteen. Ruth Connell will play Rowena on Supernatural Season 10.
