She also plays characters in Robot Chicken, Tifa Lockhart and Josie and The Pussycats of Final Fantasy. Rachael Leigh Cook was born in Minneapolis to Thomas Howard Cook, a stand-up comic as well as a social worker and JoAnn Cook, a weaver and cook. The actress is half-Italian. Cook was just seven years old when she made an appearance in a public announcement on foster care. At the age of 10, Cook began working as a child printer. This included national ads for Target and appearances on Milk-Bone dog biscuits boxes. She attended Clara Barton Open School in Clara Barton, Laurel Springs School and Minneapolis South High School.
